An Early Mother’s Day Gift

This past week-end, my youngest son and I drove up to Orlando to spend time with my middle son, David and his family.  Lisa, her sons, Ira and I were eating dinner at a very nice Italian restaurant when David joined us.  He started by telling us that because I would not be up there for Mother’s Day (I live in South Florida) that he would give us an early gift.

David handed both of us an envelope with a gift certificate for an afternoon at the spa!  Wow!  Saturday afternoon was wonderful.  First, Lisa and I visited with my grand daughter, Elizabeth, and great grand daughter, Mikayla.  Then we went to Crispers for lunch where we were joined with the “boys.”

We left them and off we went to the spa where I had an hour long luscious massage, a manicure and pedicure.  There’s nothing like being pampered.  Lisa received a beautiful new hair style, a manicure and pedicure.  We were very happy campers!
